Thankful

I am so very Thankful for many things, but mostly I am thankful for a large family. I love my parents, brother's, sisters, nieces and nephews. I am Thankful for my husband and two boys. I am even Thankful for having to peel 20 pounds of potatoes, so everyone can have a scoop of mashed potatoes with their Turkey!

Sunday is such a great day to go to the museum. Will and Jack got all gussied up and we picked up Nicole and headed down to Minneapolis.

Suessical the Musical

Don't you just love the Cat in the Hat? The Buffalo High School Theater department presented us with "Suessical the Musical". Boy are these kids talented. The music and costumes were amazing! I really enjoyed the closing number...green eggs and ham, which was written using only 50 words.

Halloween 09

This Halloween we had a few trick or treaters... Jack went with some friends out in the neighbor hood as a Pirate and Will went to a party as "Where's Waldo".

Today I had the lucky chance to go to the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce meeting with the girls from MAJIRS! advertising and Design. Our keynote speaker was "Famous Dave"...you know the guy who has all the rib restraunts. He was an amazing, motivating and inspirational speaker! He is all about positive thinking, good hard work ethic and not giving up in adversity. This guy is a native american indian and has an inspirational story about how he became so successful.  Here are a few notes from the day:

• Take your weaknesses and turn into positive assests

• Embrace technology

A shower for Baby Nevi!

Cousin Shawna Moriarty Richards had a baby girl named Nevi, so we gathered at Sal's house for a little welcome party. She is a beautiful baby and Shawna is a beautiful mother. We got a little time in with Nick and Kirstin's baby boy Braeden too.
